| School Projects are a great way to teach people, young and not as young about Renewable Energy. When children are taught interesting things early in life it stays with them through out life. Lets all get together and make it second nature for our children. As they become business leaders they will think in ways that will protect our planet and the future of their children. |
| This project was intended to allow the Science class of a local school the chance to see how solar electricity works. The children had the chance to check the open circuit voltage and amp out put of the 5-watt solar module. They were able to see how the brightness of the sun increases the speed of the 12-volt fan motor. There were as well energy awareness word-game puzzles handed out to introduce a new vocabulary. Which will be used more and more as America switches from fossil fuels to clean energy. Volt/Amp Meter, Solar Module, Fan and Motor were donations from Thompson Solar Solutions and OY Not Solar. |
| OY Not has provided this page and as many as needed for solar and renewable energy school projects that can be done at low cost (under a couple of hundred dollars).
