| Seems that everyone wants to know how solar electric adds up or calculates out and if it can make a profit for them. In most areas solar electric power is able to put some money back in your pocket. Some areas it will take a while. There are other benefits and financial gains from the use of solar energy and a Solar Electric battery backup system. How solar can help in more then one way is it can keep a pump running to keep water pumped out of an area that water would do damage to a valuable investment you have. So the pay back is three fold in this case. Because you are using the sun to provide electric power, you do not pay the city for the electric, you have electric power even when the city electric is down and you did not have to file an insurance claim on that valuable investment that would have gotten wet. And one more good thing is how solar kept your insurance rates from going up. Have you thought about how solar installed on your home will improve the re-sale value of your home. It tells the new buyer that they may never have an electric bill. If you have installed a grid tie system with battery backup. It would tell them they would not have to worry about missing work because of a power outage. Which is a money maker right there because if you are late or miss work it is just money lost and a bad rep with the boss. With the thought of how solar can help and you can profit from it, We are pulling together a group of utilities and programs and PDF files.
