For a motor of any kind you should always use a true sine wave inverter. We suggest a 1000 watt inverter. These are available in the hard wire or GFCI outlet type built into the inverter. The battery bank can be two Type 31, 130 amp-hour marine batteries, however you will get a better life from deep cycle batteries. Three will work with this system and give a little extra power. However, will take a little longer to fully charge three batteries of this size. As long as you have 240 amp-hours in battery power you should have no problems running the lift. Best batteries for this would be the Trojan T-105 or the Trojan L-16 totaling between 240 AH and 400 AH. In this package: Three 110 watt solar modules.
